The Learney Arms was re-opened in November 2016 as a restaurant and bar by local businessman Thomas Drummond following a remodelling of the space.
The family-friendly restaurant has a beautifully proportioned room with booth and traditional dining table and chair seating for 30. The booths have their own private TV screen so you can show childrens programs or watch sports. The dining room is ideal for a romantic meal for two or a family get together. Starched tablecloths have been ditched in favour of bare wood and natural materials. The sound and aroma of crackling wood from the wood burner provided warmth and comfort on a chilly Autumn or Winter day. Perfect for families, with plenty of toys and games for the children to entertain themselves.
We pride ourselves on providing our customers with great service, including customers with disabilities. We have disabled access and a disabled toilet facility. If you require any assistance, please phone ahead of your visit and we will ensure there is a member of staff available to assist with entry and exit to and from the premises.
Our chef works hard to ensure she delivers a menu with something to suit all tastebuds and dietary requirements. The menu currently features a delicious Morrocan spiced lamb tagine with lemon and lime couscous and pitta bread.
At the bar we have a range of Prosecco, Champagne, Beers, Wines, Premium Spirits, Whiskys, soft-drinks, teas and coffees. And if you’re feeling adventurous, why not have one of our cocktails.
The Learney Arms was created to be an informal, relaxed and calming space where you can feel at ease. Whenever you choose to visit, your welcome will always be warm and friendly. Give us a try.
